Title: Castles

If you've ever seen a castle,
You'll know what I mean,
The very grass around it,
Seems more lush and green.

It's pointed granite steeples,
Reach up to the sky,
The very clouds above it,
Float more swiftly by.

It's drawbridge over water,
Is reflected in the pool,
A lily filled moat,
Deep, and dark, and cool.

It's highly polished windows,
Glimmer in the sun,
Early light that shows,
New mornings have begun.

A Storyteller Topic - Kids Are Poets Too
Poetry is a great way to express yourself, whether you're feeling down or on top of the world. There are many different types of poems and remember, they don't have to rhyme.
