Title: Goodnight Grandma

I can still remember the melodies she sang
I used to greet her at the door, whenever it rang.

I can feel her hand wiping all my tears away,
I even hear her voice, every single day.

All I have to remember her, is a picture in a frame
She'll always be in my memory, but that is not the same.

As far as I can remember, she was always on my side,
she helped me find my happiness, when I thought it was to hide.

I never imagined her, gone and out of my life,
I never expected anyone, to fulfill so much strife.

So grandma this time, I'm tucking you in
and leaving you with a kiss
so when you wake up, I'll be right there,

waiting to see your smile,
so goodnight grandma, I love you much
and see you in a little while.
