Title: Episode 48: Koga: The Fuchsia City Gym Leader
Well, no rain anymore. It hasn't been so arid lately, but a drought may be coming. I have to defeat the Fuchsia City Gym leader before sunset because tomorrow, the Gym leader would be going on vacation, so I can't battle him. During the day, I decided to get Mewtwo to be my first pokemon that I was going choose out in the gym because psychic types are supposed to be good against poison.
It was around 4 o'clock, and there was only an hour left till the sun sets. Kristin, Aloha and I were looking at some new pokemon fossil. 'Aloha,' I asked, 'Why were you so surprised when I caught that Mewtwo? Does it have and powers that's worth knowing?' She look more surprised, and said, 'Sure, it is one of the most rarest and the most powerful pokemon around.' 'Then why did it appear right in front of me?' I demanded. 'Well, that's because you were lucky,' Kristin said nearby. The gym! I forgot about that. 'Kristin, it is time to go.' She grabbed Aloha and we ran out and hurried to the gym. In there, there was a clear path to Koga. Aloha tried to run right up to him, but bumped... into an invisible wall! Koga snickered in a mean way and said, 'You must find your way through the invisible walls to battle me, and there is nothing to help you!' That will become hard. I started to the right, and I stayed close to the wall so I can keep going without hitting a wall. At last, I found no more invisible walls and it was time to battle Koga!
'Hmmm, a little kid. One of those usual challengers. Three-on-three. Go Weezing!' 'Go Mewtwo!' Koga gasped. 'Wh-Where did you get that thing?' I didn't know what I should say. 'Uh, at the Safari Zone.' Mewtwo sure meant business. 'Use Confusion!' It easily fainted, since it was super effective after all. 'No! Psychic pokemon! They are good against Poison, but that will change. Go, Venomoth!'
Bugs were good against Psychic pokemon, but it was still a part poison type. 'Don't let the type fool you.' I said to Mewtwo. 'It may be a bug type, but it is also a poison as well. Use Psychic!' Mewtwo was ready... 'Try and dodge it!' Koga commanded, but it was too late. The psychic attack has already filled up the whole room, so Venomoth had to take it and fainted. It never said that psychic attacks were bad against psychics, bugs are just good against them. 'My last hope. Go Muk!' 'Muuuk!' It said. 'Use Psychic again!' All right! The attack hit full force and Muk fainted! I got my soulbadge shortly after.
