Title: The day...
One silent night, Lily and James Potter, sat in their house with their son, Harry. Suddenly, something shocking happened. A hooded figure swung open the door. James cried with despair, 'Lily! You take Harry! I will stop him!' James cast spells frantically, but it was too late.
'Avada Kedavra!'
A loud snap came from downstairs. Lily was hiding, cradling Harry. Footsteps came closer. An icy glare hit Lily's face. Lily was horrorstruck as You-Know-Who laughed a shrill, cold laugh. Lily cried, 'No, please, not Harry, I'm scared,' but You-Know-Who laughed even harder and approached with his wand. Lily pleaded, while at the same time, James was dying motionless on the floor.
'Avada Kedavra!'
Another loud snap, and petrifing green thunder appeared above them. Lily lay dead. Harry was left beside his mother, crying and screaming as just a tiny baby, and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named struck the final blow. But the power of love from his mom conquered the blast.
'Avada Kedavra!'
The last time, the Dark Lord gasped. He was hit with his spell, and withered to almost nothing. No more than a shapeless creature, he retreated to the swamps. The Boy Who Lived had survived. Later, two men found him. Hagrid, a half-giant, and Sirius Black. Hagrid took Harry away...
