Title: Blue, The Bunny
Today, I had the honor of taking care of our classroom pet, Blue the Bunny. Blue is a big bunny with brown fur. He likes to get out of his cage and hop around on the floor.
After we played with him for a while, my friend, Janell, and I cleaned out his cage. First, we had to take the bunny out of his cage and keep him in a safe place. Then, we took his food dish and water bottle of of his cage. Next, we dumped all the wood chips out of the cage into a trash bag. After all the stuff was out of the cage, we cleaned it out with water. After that, we dried it off with a dishcloth.
After we finished cleaning the cage, we put some fresh wood chips inside the bottom of the cage. Then, we gave him some fresh food and water. Next, we put the cage back together and put Blue the Bunny back inside the cage. He seemed to enjoy his nice, neat, clean cage. He hopped around for a while and then started to eat his dinner.
I get to keep Blue the Bunny all weekend long. I will take very good care of him and make sure he has enough food and water all the time.
