O glorious fire
I sing to thee
Your flickering flames
They captivate me
I cannot resist
Thy smoke and ashes
I am simply at peace
When playing with matches
Many a building
Shall fall to thee
But even your conflagration
Burns beautifully
The crimson red
And orange and yellow
Illuminate the room
With your eerie glow
Inferno, Combust,
Ignite, KABOOM
The daggers of light swallow the room
Hot, sharp, pointy daggers
With intent to consume
The firemen fight you
With all their might
But only if they respected your beautiful sight
Nature's light show
Is scorned and feared
The picturesque horizon's colors are smeared
With the destruction of the firemen's water as it neared
Curse those men
For the sins they commit
Destroying the destroyer
Those pieces of *crap*
If only they would open
Their eyes and see
That your light
It shines gorgeously
I try to restrain myself
When in your presence
But your searing heat
It feeds my essence
Although I have gotten
Into trouble in the past
I remain diligently
A pyromaniac to the last
