Title: Snow Days
Snow days are wonderful. I feel like I am getting a gift every time school closes for snow or ice. The blanket of white stuff turns routine upside down and hands over a day that has not been planned. It is like getting a blank piece of paper to design how the day will unravel. Your new find can be spent productively or lazily; you have the freedom to choose how to use it. If the snow day(s) happens to fall in the week before Christmas I consider that a double bonus. Getting the gift of time in the season when times seems so scarce it the best gift I could receive.
