If Legolas were a girl, LOTR would be sooo different. Here's LOTR re-written with Legolas being a girl.
At the Council of Elrond..
'This is no ordinary ranger. He is Aragorn, son of Arathorn. He roams the land and he's... he's... darn good-looking too!'
On the road to Moria:
'Can't we take a break? I need my beauty sleep, guys! And oh, I just broke another nail! You guys! Isn't anyone listening? You're just like men, so oblivious to women's problems! No wonder the divorce rate is going up!'
On the Passage of Caradhras:
'Isn't the snow romantic? Doesn't it just make the perfect setting for a romantic redezvous? Let's just take a break and enjoy the beautiful weather? What's the problem? Oh yea.. you guys can't walk atop of snow...'
In Moria:
'Help me, Aragorn! There are spiders everywhere! Ew! I hate spiders! Squish them! Agh, I just broke another nail! This is so not fashionable! And my skirt has wrinkles all over it!'
Outside Moria:
'Doesn't it feel good to be in the fresh air again? I feel like I can just live forever! No wait... I can live forever. Fresh air is so good for your skin!'
On the road to Lorien:
'Hey Haldir! How's it been? Ugh, you still have that jacket? Leather is like, sooo out! The new look this year is embroidery! See, I got this tunic at half-price the other day! It was the last on the shelf too...'
In Lorien:
'Galadriel! What's up? Like, I haven't seen you in ages, girlfriend! You haven't changed! What's your secret? I mean, I've tried all sorts of anti-wrinkle creams, and none of them have worked yet! Oh wait... I don't have wrinkles to begin with..'
In the woods (sorry, I forgot the name!):
'Take that, you orc! Girl power rules! Ugh, get away from me! Haven't you ever heard of foundation? And you could seriously use a wardrobe remodeling... and you? You need a nosejob? What? I'm supposed to kill them? Alright... *closes eyes*...'
