Title: A sight from a cliff

Standing on a lonely cliff,
Seems a thousand miles tall
And I will always keep my promise,
Until the snow begins to fall.

The soft rain starts to attack,
The ships I could just reach
And you can hear when the boats meet the cliffs,
There is an eerie screech.

I dare not eat or drink,
And I watch all day and night
For I never dare close an eye,
In case I miss this long awaited sight.

I will not move,
And I dare not cry
It is a long wait,
And I mustn't tell you why.

It is an awful tale,
Not one that anyone loves
But I still remain to wait for it,
And I will until it does.
