Title: A TALL STORY

A Tall Story
By Mansi

One day, I woke up in the morning. The moon had just risen. My room was filled with it’s bright rays. I got up and changed into my clothes, the ones I was going to wear to school. Then I went into the bathroom for a bath. After having a nice bath with icy water I went down to have dinner. I had chopped meat, bacon and eggs even though I am a pure veg. I was getting early for school so I ran to catch the morning dinosaur. I missed it, so I went for the evening whale. The tide had gone out so the whale walked to my school to drop me there.
I met my friend over there. We both walked up to our class which was right at the back of the school, behind the compound wall. Our teacher the mole was waiting for all the children to arrive. The school horn blew. Almost every one had arrived. So we started class. Our topic for the day was ‘Fact and Fiction’. Our teacher told us that fact meant something that was made up, like a tall story and fiction meant something that was real. We all wrote a tall story.
After school we went home. I had some light breakfast. Then I went out to play. We played football with my basketball. Mother came from work. Father had made lovely lunch. We all eat it. Then we went to bed. My bed was made from a large acorn shell. And my blanket was a small rose petal. I counted three million five hundred and two Egyptian sheep before falling asleep.
