Title: I'll wait for you!

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Princess Cassidy. She was a nice and kind princess. Her mother was Lady Deirdre, and her father was Lord Roman of the Kingdom of Lystra. They happily ruled the Kingdom together. They were also very good friends with Caile, the Kingdom next to theirs. Princess Cassidy was to be married to their Prince, Prince Kevin. The two were deeply in love, they had known each other since they were children. They had met one day, when Cassidy ran away, and was hiding in a large, deep, dark cave. Kevin had been exploring the cave, and a dragon had come and attacked Cassidy. Kevin was about to run, but he heard the crying of a young girl, he ran to her rescue, and scared the dragon away. Ever since that, the two kingdoms had become good friends, and their children fell in love, and were to be wed.
It was a beautiful evening, the moon was full, and Cassidy and Kevin were out for a walk by the pond. When, suddenly, they heard some hooves beating the ground as the horses ran by, and the shouting of guards, guards from their enemy kingdom. They were headed straight to Caile! Kevin immediately helped Cassidy up, who had been frightened and fell down, and helped her onto his horse, and they took off riding into the night. When they reached Caile, it was almost too late. Houses were on fire, dead corpses were strewn on the ground, and there were only few guards left standing, on both sides, battling till the end. Kevin jumped down from the horse, and told Cassidy to go back to her Kingdom, and get help. She refused, but she saw the fear in his eyes, and agreed. She took off into the darkness. Kevin ran to the side of his injured soldiers to help battle.
In the meantime, Cassidy had never really left, she wanted to stay and help, so, instead, she rode into the village, and into one of the only houses that was not on fire. She ordered the townsperson, to ride to her kingdom, and tell her mother and father, to quickly send help to Caile, the kingdom was under attack. He jumped onto the horse, and rode off to get help.
Kevin and his soldiers, were badly wounded when she found them, they were in the woods, in awful shape, and most were unconscious. Luckily, Kevin was not, he quickly demanded what Cassidy was doing there, for he had told her to go back and get help. She told him, not to worry, that she had sent a townsperson to get help.
Suddenly, they heard the crack of a branch, and two people whispering. Cassidy was scared, and Kevin told her to hide, because, it could be the enemy guards coming back to finish them off. But, Cassidy refused to leave his side. Then, she saw a shinning object be rised into the air, and came down! It missed her by a hair. She grabbed Kevin's sword, and attacked the enemy. She heard a moan, and knew, he was dead. She touched his throat, to feel for a pulse, of any kind. But, all she felt, was a warm liquid seeping from his neck, blood. He was dead.
She told Kevin to wait for her, and not to move. She ventured out of the woods, being very careful not to make any noise, for, there could be enemy guards still by. She got to the edge of the woods, and carefully scanned the grounds for guards. She heard hooves pounding, and she ducked back into the woods, out of eyes distance. She then saw the crest being carried, it was her father, and a group of guards! They had come to help! She left the woods and started running to her father, but, suddenly two large hands grabbed her from behind, and covered her mouth. She tried to scream, but couldn't. He held a knife to her throat. And said to her "Let's see how fast your father will surrender for his daughter!" Then, she felt his grip loosen extremely, and he fell to the ground, and an unfamiliar voice say "You fool, you thought you could have her didn't you?" She started running, fearing it was another guard, and when she looked back to see if she was being chased, she saw it was Kevin standing there, with a swor
She ran back to him, and hugged him. She helped him over to her father, and they rushed him into the castle, for he was badly injured. Deirdre showed her father where the other guards were, and they too were terribly injured.
Inside the castle, Kevin and the guards were bring treated. The doctor came out and announced that Kevin might not live, his injuries were very bad. Cassidy ran off crying. She ran out the doors, through the garden, past the woods, and to the pond her and Kevin were at, just hours ago, when everything had been alright. She sat beside the pond and wept, and cried out "God, why couldn't you have taken me? Just not Kevin! Please spare him, let him be alright!!"" The behind her, she heard someone walking very carefully, as though trying not to make any noise. She just continued to cry, then said "Go ahead, kill me! Torture me, do whatever you want with me! My life is worthless without the one I love!" Then, she heard someone respond "I'm sorry Princess, it's just me, Eric, the townsman you sent to get help, I just wanted to be sure you were alright" "Oh, yes, I'm alright" she replied. "Umm…Princess? May I ask why you say your without your love? Isn't the Prince ok?" asked the peasant. "Well, he's in the castle,
That night, back in her own kingdom, Lystra, she cried all night. The next morning, she was still sad, but, a bit more happy. Her mother asked her if she was feeling any better. "Yes mother, a bit, not much though" Replied Cassidy. "Well dear, that's a start. Did you get to say goodbye?" asked her mother. "Yes, and he promised to wait for me" Cassidy told her mother. "What do you mean Cassidy?" She just turned, and left. She told a guard to saddle up her horse, Lady, and she climbed onto her. She started riding, but she wasn't sure to where. Lady seemed to be taking her somewhere. So, she let her go where she was heading. They finally stopped, and Cassidy was at the pond. Then, Cassidy started weeping again "Oh Lady! Why did you bring me here?" Cassidy tried to get Lady to go back home, but she wouldn't move. So, Cassidy dismounted her, and walked over to the edge of the pond, and looked in. What she saw made her think she was dreaming, she saw Kevin, and her. Last night at the pond, they were looking at t
That night, she went to bed, and cried herself to sleep. The next morning, she did not awake when she normally did. Her mother went up to see if everything was alright. She fell to the floor and wept at what she saw. Roman came rushing up the stairs. "What's wrong?" Then, he looked at the bed. All he saw was Cassidy, with a smile on her face, and a note beside her bed. It read,
Dear Mother and Father,
He said he would wait for me, and he has! Now, my time has come for me to go to. I will wait for you both to come and live here with us. It's a wonderful place! It's peaceful, and everyone's always happy! I'll love you always and I'll wait for you, just like he waited for me! I love you both very much!

And, half an hour later, Cassidy was
pronounced dead. But the words always
remained in Roman and Deirdre's heads,
'I'll wait for you'
