Title: Our Journey, Chapter 1
Chapter 1, The Journey Begins!
The sunlight was just starting to come over the treetops when my alarm clock went off. It was seven in the morning; I was unaccustomed to waking up this early. I had tried getting to sleep earlier that night, but the clock wouldn't hear of it-so I missed out on a lot of sleep that night. I groggily slapped at the screeching clock, trying to make it shut up. I knocked it off the night stand, coming to my senses at the sound of it shattering on the floor. 'Oops,' I muttered. 'Kristin?' my mother called up to him from the first floor. 'What was that noise?' 'Uh... my clock, mom...' I said, looking down to see if it really was the clock. 'Get dressed and come down for breakfast,' my mom called. I quickly got dressed. I readied myself for the big day; the day he'd been waiting for ever since he heard of these creatures known as Pokémon. Today was the day I got my Pokémon license.
