Title: Singer: The story of my life
When I grow up, I wish to be a singer. Not because I want fame or fortune. I want to be a singer because it is my passion. It is my dream. Singers are mostly great role models, which is the messege I want to send to kids. I don't want to be a singer like Brittany Spears and give bad advice to girls saying they have to be skinny. As a singer, all I want to do is be me, and spread music and joy all over the world.
I have been a singer since I was six. I would use those sing along kid videos. At the time, I was a ballerina. My teacher made fun of me because I was pigeon toed, so I quit. Then I decided to go become a singer instead. I started out in choir, but then I persued a solo career.
My teacher Darna introduced me to a lot of Broadway tunes. I thought that it looked like a lot of fun on Broadway, and I wanted to go there ever since. One day my teacher told me
'Lauren (That's my real name), I can no longer teach you. I think you need someone to teach you more than I ever can.'
I instead went to an academy of preforming arts. My teacher Julie was awsome, but then my Mom and Dad told me we had to move to another state, and I said goodbye.
I don't have a teacher at the moment, but I hope to someday be on American Idol or Star Search so I can show everyone how much I love to sing. I just have one word of advice: Whatever you want to do, if you set your mind to it, you can do anything!
