Dad was telling us about his cool new job as a gym leder when we got to our new house. 'You're going to be a gym leader?!' I exclaimed, 'That's the coolest job ever! Where are you going to be a leader?' 'Petalburg City,' he said, 'Maybe if you become a trainer, then one day we'll battle!' I got in the house and saw that Machops were moving all of our things in. I went up to my room, and looked around. I decorated it, and made it look exactly like the way my old room used to look. I went back downstairs and saw that Mom and Dad had my birthday presents! 'Wow!' I exclaimed, 'Thanks, mom and Dad!' I opened the first present, and it was a cool clock shaped like a PokéBall. That would go good in my room. I also got a new game for my Gameboy Advance, and a Wailmer stuffed toy. 'Thanks so much, guys!' I exclamed. 'Haley,' Mom said, 'Why don't you go next door? Our new neighbor has a present for you!' I quickly hurried over to our neighbor's house, after saying goodbye to Dad (he was leaving for the gym). I knocked on the door, and a boy named Brendan opened the door. 'Come on in!' he said, 'Dad's not here yet, but I here he has a present for you!' I stepped in...
