Title: A Day in the Wilderness

My house is in the wilderness so I live
on the wild side. One day I decided to
take a walk. I walked past some gor-
geous looking trees. It was so dark in
this part of the woods. I could still
see my house as I looked back slowly.
As I walked I heard a ruffle in the
bushes. I got my flashlight out and
turned it on. Then a rabbit jumped out
at me. I was startled. Then it hopped
out of reach. I walked some more then
it started getting bright. I saw the
most amazing flowers. They were pink
and purple. I got an image of friend-
ship. Close friendship. I heard some
one behind me but I didn't want to look
back. I was frightened. I walked
faster and faster. Then I shrieked as
it ran past me. Then I noticed it was
a deer. It was beautiful. His antlers
were long and sharp. Just gorgeous. It
grazed then walked ahead. I saw a look
on his face like it wanted me to follow
him. So I did. We walked past a
stream, past a flock of birds. I was
wondering where are we going? He
started to go faster. The faster he
went the faster I went. Soon I
noticed I was funning. Finally we
stopped. By a cave. He looked at me
with the most saddest face. His eyes
were watery, weary, and wanting. "Why
did you bring me here?", I said knowing
he could understand me. The deer went
in and I followed. We walked; it was
not dark like other caves. And as we
were walking I noticed blood on his leg.
But somehow I knew it wasn't his. We
kept walking. Then we slowed to a stop.
I looked around and didn't see nothing
until I look in the far right corner.
There stood a mother deer and a fawn
just after birth. No wonder the deer
wanted me to follow him. He wanted
someone to acknowledge his fawn. I
decided I would walk home. As I
exited the cave I noticed two deer and
a fawn following me. Now I have
three deer.
