Title: The Tragic and unforgetable day.
It was a dark and stormy night and Lily,James and Harry Potter were sitting on the couch watching the evening news. Lily was cradling Harry and singing him a beautiful poem she thought up herself.Harry was almost asleep when James said' Lily I'm going to get us some thing to eat.' And he left. He went in the kitchen and looked out the window, there was a dark, hooded figure coming towards the house. He thought it was Siris Black, Harry's godfather coming for a visit. But then he realized it was you-know-who because all of his neighbors were suddenly locking their doors and pulling down their shades. He quickly ran to Lily and said'Lily, Voltomort is coming towards' but he didn't finish his sentence. There was a loud bang and the door flung open and Voltomort was standing about 5 feet away from James Potter. James said to Lily ' Run,run and get as far away as you can from here. I'll try to get him.' 'No', said Lily,'I don't want to see you get killed.' 'Oh, how lovely' said Voltomort. 'Run!' said James. Lily ran up the stairs, while she was running she heard Voltomort saying the words that killed her husband. She kept holding Harry in her arms.'I love you Harry.' When she got to her bedroom, she opened the window so she could escape. Just as she was about to jump, the door crased open.Voltomort saw that Lily was about to escape, and he pushed her off the windowsill into the corner of the room.'Move aside, Lily I am going to kill the boy.' ' No please kill me,kill me.Have mercy. This child is but only one years old.' ' As you wish.' and he killed Lily. 'Now it is your turn' he said to Harry.Then he said the curse that was likely to kill poor old innocent Harry. But for some reason, the spell rebounded off Harry and hit Lord Voltomort.' I shall return Harry Potter.' And he swept away. He left Harry with only a scar, crying ,lying motionless on the floor of what used to be his home.
