Title: Samantha and Smokey's Adventure
Once upon a time there was a girl named Samantha, who loved to play outside with her dog Smokey. One day while they were walking in the park near their home, Smokey found the most unusual hat that Samantha had ever seen. It was huge, big enough for them both to climb into. The hat was covered with green polka dots of all sizes, and had a big letter "D" on it. They decided to climb into the hat for a closer look, and pow, bang, and pop,
Samantha and Smokey were zapped to another planet. Now this was scary, Samantha looked around to find Smokey by her side whining. The park had turned into a huge planet of rocks. All around them were tiny rocks and both Samantha and Smokey began floating about like balloons. Samantha and Smokey were afraid, they didn't know how they got here or how they were going to get back home. Just then out of nowhere appeared a tiny elf-like person.
The elf was dressed in all green clothes, it had a large eye that was in the middle of its face and two long antennas sticking out of its head. Although it looked strange somehow it seemed there was nothing to be afraid of, because the elf had the biggest, friendliest, smile they had ever seen. Smokey walked up to the elf and licked its legs, it was Smokey's way of saying hello. Then all of a sudden the elf began barking at Smokey and Samantha. It was so
funny that Samantha began laughing very hard which made her float higher and higher into rock space. The little elf was able to talk dog language but not people. This was a great surprise for both Samantha and Smokey. When Samantha said hello to the elf, he began to jump up-and-down really fast and wave his arms around in circles. This was unusual for Samantha, but Smokey seemed to enjoy having someone to understand what all these doggie actions
meant. Then the elf began to point excitedly at the large hat that brought Samantha and Smokey to this rock space, the polka-dot hat was glowing like a bright light bulb. The hat seemed to be telling them it was time to go home again. Samantha waved good-bye to the little elf and they both jumped back into the hat, hoping they would get back home safely. No sooner had they gotten into the hat when a zoom, zap, pop and a bang and they both landed onto the
green grass at the park. Samanatha looked around her while yawning, the sun was shining brightly, hurting her eyes as she tried to remember what had just happened. Smokey was fast asleep beside her on the grass, and the giant mysterious hat had disappeared.
