Title: Jo and the Twins
Just in case anyone wants to know, this
is only part of a book I am writing
called The Secret of the Old Diary.
April, 2119
One afternoon, after school was out,
Shannon came running up to her twin
sister, Sharon.
"I saw Jo!" she said breathlessly, wip-
ong her brow. Sharon looked at her as if
to say, "Who?" "The girl in the 1998
Diary?" Sharon laughed, then tried to cov-
er it up with a cough, but it was too late.
Shannon looked hurt and offended. "I did!
I'll show you!" Sharon rolled her eyes.
"You are so obsessed with Jo," Sharon
exclaimed. Even so, she followed her
sister to "An old school building?" Sharon
sounded digusted. It WAS disgusting. It had
bits of old, burnt wood that used to be
desks. Part of the school had collapsed
from a fire.
"Remember?" Shannon said excitedly. "She
died in a fire! This was HER school."
Suddenly, Sharon and Shannon gasped. The
desks began to take shape and so did the
rest of the room. At first it was blurred
and see-through, like a hologram. Then it
slowly began to get clearer. But the most
exciting part was when they saw a girl,
sitting at a desk, writing. The name tag
on the desk said "Joanna Jones."
