Title: Hermione's Potion Dilemna (part two)
A few hours later when everyone came up to bed, Ron and Harry were the first to bang on the door. 'Hermione!' Harry screamed through the heavy wood. ' Open up! We need- we HAVE to talk to you!' 'Go away,' Hermione sobbed. 'Alohomora!' Ron bellowed, wand pointed at the door. The lock opened with a 'click.' 'Shouldn't have let her teach us that one,' Ron said, breathing heavily. Harry and Ron ran into the room, forgetting that it was the girls' dorm. They both sat down on either side of Hermione and started drowning her with questions. Hermione neither answered nor tried to stop them from screaming at her. She deserved it. She shouldn't have let herself be lured into such an obvious trap. What a fool she'd been! These and many more thoughts raced into her mind as she stood up to face Harry and Ron. 'I'm sorry,' she began slowly, 'but you should know that I thought that potion was a healing draft. I didn't find out it's properties, or ask the man who gave it to me what kind of potion it was. So the moment after I put it in your goblet, Ron, I realized that since it was smoking, it was most definitely not a healing draft.' 'But why did you think I needed a healing draft?' Ron asked. 'Because ever since the beginning of the year, you've been grumpy and miserable. I was curious to see if the potion would help, but I know that healing drafts do not smoke.' 'Can you figure out what kiind of potion it is now?' Harry asked anxiously. 'Of course I can,' Hermione sniffed, 'but I'll need your help to test the properties.' Harry shot a nervous look at Ron, who then and there decided that no matter how crazy Hermione would get, he was going to stick with her. 'You just say the word and I'm there, Hermione,' Ron said. 'Alright, then. Let's go.'
