Once there were a wealthy man and wife who wished for one child but by accident they had two.
Their names were Tiffany, the oldest, and Jo-ann. Everyone acted like Tiffany was the only child they had except Grandma. Grandma acted like Tiffany wasn
t alive and Jo-ann was an only child. Every time Jo-ann fell, scraped her knee, or stubbed her toe, Grandma always took care of it. On the other hand, Jo-ann parents, whenever they saw that Tiffany had the littlest thing wrong, like a pimple, they screamed in terror. And if Jo-ann broke her arm, they acted like she was doing fine. One day Jo-ann noticed that her parents never paid attention to her and they never took their eyes off Tiffany. Jo-ann was very sad at this. She asked Grandma to adopt her. So Grandma adopted her. As Jo-ann grew older, she was able to take care of herself. Grandma said that it was time for Jo-ann to go out on her own. Jo-ann was very sad, but she left anyway because Grandma always knew what was right for her. One day about a year later, a prince was looking about for someone to marry. Every girl in town put on her best clothes. But Jo-ann stayed in her regular housework clothes.
