Chapters 5-6
Chapter 5
The Giant and the Dark Sorcerer
So they went on their way.
Then they met a giant. Towering over them, he boomed, “You must kill me to pass.”
“You fight, Justin.” Sir Keaton said.
“Yes, Sir.” Justin said.
Justin easily killed the giant with a curse using his magic wand.
Then they went on.
When they got to the foot of the mountain, they met a dark sorcerer. “You must kill me to pass.” Said the sorcerer.
Mitchel came up with his magic staff. “I will fight you, you foul, evil…”
“All right, all right. Get on with the battle.” The sorcerer barked.
“Don’t rush me, you little brat!” spat Mitchel.
“Break it up. Break it up!” said Sir Keaton. “Just get with the wizard duel.”
“Okay, Okay, we will.” Said Mitchel.
The duel began. Mitchel tried to use the killing curse but the sorcerer reflected it back to him. He had to dodge it. Then Mitchel stunned the sorcerer reflecting back the stunning spell. Then using the killing curse he killed the sorcerer.
Chapter 6
The Spying and the Plans
They continued up the mountain.
When they got to the top of the mountain, they saw the dragon’s lair.
Bending down, Sir Keaton whispered, “I think we should wait until night to fight the dragon because he will be surprised and will not be expecting us.”
“I agree.” Said Timothy. “I will go and try to talk to the dragon and see when he sleeps.”
“Here, you take my invisibility cloak so the dragon will not be able to see you.” Said Becca.
“Thanks.” Said Timothy.
“And you use my magic shield. You won’t lose a drop of blood while you are wearing it.” Offered Sir Keaton.
“Thanks a lot.” Said Timothy. “Now I will go and talk with the dragon.”
Timothy threw Becca’s cloak over his shoulders and disappeared inside the dragon’s lair.
After a while, Timothy reappeared in front of his companions. “I didn’t have to talk to the dragon at all. He sleeps during the day and attacks during the night.”
After Timothy told them this, they went down the mountain. There, they found a cave to spend the night. All night they stayed up to make their plans.
“I will fight first.” Said Sir Keaton. “Whoever is fighting gets all of the magical items to be safe. Tomorrow we will attack.”
So, all of them slept. In the morning, they went back to the dragon’s lair.
