Chapters 7 and 8
Chapter 7
The Fight and the Reward
When they approached the dragon’s cave, Sir Keaton put on all the magical items so he would be safe. All the other knights stayed outside the cave.
Sir Keaton went in. He battled and battled. He zipped and dodged, but he couldn’t find a weak spot. He came back out.
“I can’t find a weak spot.” He said.
“Try his left breast. I think I saw that it was his only unprotected spot.” Said Timothy.
“Thanks.” Said Sir Keaton. He went back in. Then he swung his sword into the dragon’s left breast. One by one each knight put on all the magical items and fought the dragon. Finally, the dragon was dead.
They cut out the sharpest tooth as proof that they sleighed the dragon.
“Let’s go home.” Said Sir Keaton. And they did. They were rewarded beyond their wildest dreams!
