Title: The Eagle and the Rabbit

10-13-99 The Eagle and The Rabbit
by "Walton Blue" aka Kristen-Rebekah

The rabbit didn't like to eat
carrots with the eagle, because
the eagle was so mean. She
would fly through the sky with
her children, later returning to
her home in the tree. They
came back to the tree when
suddenly they saw the rabbit.
The rabbit ran to a thickle bush
to hide himself away. The next
day the rabbit went out for the
day again, when suddenly he
again saw the eagle, only to his
surprise, this time the eagle flew
close to him. The rabbit again
invited the eagle to have a
carrot with him, this time the
eagle was happy to accept his
invitation realizing that the
rabbit meant them no harm. The
mother eagle returned with her
children for a lovely picnic
lunch with the rabbit. And the
rabbit then realized that he
shouldn't have judged the
eagle so harshly, by thinking
her mean, for she was only
trying to protect her family. The
eagle and the rabbit enjoyed
many picnic lunches together
after that and became the best
of friends. THE END.
