Title: The Land Within My Mind

In the moonlit night, I toss and turn,
Under the heavy sheets my skin burns.
And then the dreams come so calm and cool,
And my mind rests like an untouched pool.
Romance, adventure, live in my mind,
Prince Charmings hold me close, brave and kind.
Pure Unicorns and Dragons galore,
A golden knight in shining armor.
Nightmares seem real, Fantasies come true,
Mermaids with genies, their tales so blue.
And how I wish I could be with them,
Instead of this world, so cruel and dim.
All the day I long to close my eyes,
Because in dreamland no one can die.
