BUBBLES
Testing your abilities is like
Blowing a bubble with bubble gum;
You can only exert so much
until it pops.
My activities held me down;
my studies slapped me in the face.
It made water come out of my eyes
in gigantic drops of frustration.
I wanted to play hockey;
I wanted to go to dance.
I knew that in advance.
I was losing old yet gaining new friends
and I hardly had time to breathe.
