Title: My experience with witches
My Experience with Witches
As soon as I set my eyes on my Aunt Harriet, I knew I was doomed for a life of sorrow…
My aunt has always been a little strange. I have been living with her for a month already, ever since my parents passed away in a car accident.
Once, I heard her chanting to herself. I forgot about it until my parrot started repeating it the next day. It sounded something like- "Shtooka Booka". Since that incident I have been keeping an eye on my Aunt Harriet, day and night.
One night I was lying in my bed quietly. Harriet obviously thought I was asleep, because suddenly to my surprise, she tiptoed towards the door, and slipped out without saying a thing.
What she didn't know, was that I put on my slippers and followed her... I could see Brooster her black cat, trotting proudly behind her. Now, more than ever, I had a feeling that Brooster had eyes ion his back, and could see everything. Suddenly she turned left into a narrow alley. Luckily, she didn't notice me! The alley seemed as is it never ended. My Aunt was walking awfully fast for an old lady. In fact I had never seen her in such stress, and in such a hurry. She stopped for a minute. I held my breath. She put on a cloak and a pointy hat, and if I didn't know better, I could have mistaken her for a witch!
Then she entered an old farmhouse, which looked deserted and abandoned, but strangely enough, noisy voices were coming from inside. I was pretty scared; but then again, I was with a grownup wasn't I?
I sneaked in, and saw lots of people which looked like witches- black cloaks, pointy hats, some even held books in their hands written in weird letters I had never seen before. Perhaps it was an early Halloween party, I thought. But that can't be. Halloween is due only in a few months. I hushed my thoughts and tried to squish under a stack of hay. I heard someone speaking, and when I peaked out I saw that the speaker was an old lady I had noticed entering the farmhouse. She had a pointy nose, and an extra long broom. I was awfully surprised, when I heard her saying: "all witches to be..." What was going on?! She continued: "we have gathered here today, because we all want to become better witches, and make all our spells come true..."
"Ahhh" I screamed! All heads were turned towards me!
