Genie Of The Lamp
One day, a girl called Heather was walking around the woods with her friend Emily. Emily had found a lamp. It was dusty, so Heather rubbed it. A purple genie appeared and said that Heather and Emily had 3 wishes. Heather and Emily were very excited.
"I wish that me and Emily would be rich and famous!" Heather wished.
The genie nodded and with a blink of an eye, they were in Hollywood!
Heather and Emily walked around and found out that a lot of people were following them. Emily rubbed the lamp. The genie appeared once more.
"Please genie, can we go home?" Emily asked.
"Why?" the genie asked.
They could tell the genie wasn't happy.
"These people are strangers, so we should stay away from them." Emily said.
"As you wish." the genie said.
The genie nodded and they were back in the woods.
"It's time for our last wish." Heather said.
Heather rubbed the lamp. The genie came out. He looked sad.
"What is wrong?" Emiy asked.
"I've never been set free! I've been in the lamp for a long time. No one has ever set me free!" the genie looked even sadder than before.
Heather whispered into Emily's ear. They nodded and said together:
"For our last wish, we set you free!"
The genie stopped looking sad. He smiled.
"I'm free! Yay!" he cried and flew off.
"I am really happy for him." Emily said.
Heather and Emily walked out of the forest and went home. For the rest of the day, they felt pround because they had made someone happy.
