Title: Hogwarts - Chapter Six
Harry sat next to Ron, and on the list went. Student after student went to each table greeting their fellow housemates. I was getting a little bored, but it felt exciting too. I set my head on the table in front of me.
'Ok... Draco Malfoy?' said McGonagall. My head snapped up so quick I'd though it'd fly off. I stared at him as he made his way up to the stool. He must of felt the heat of my stare, because he glanced back at me nervously. He sat down, and McGonagall set the hat on his head. It barely touched his hair when the hat blurted out,
'SLYTHERIN!'
I stared in shocked, dissapointed about it. I sighed, and countinued on listening. But one thing attracted my attention. A girl, which I couldn't tell what she looked like from here, (Margo can you please give me a discription about yourself so I know what you look like?) and she looked nice. She sat on the stool, a little excited but somewhat afraid, like how I felt. I could tell by her eyes and how she walked up there, very unsteady. I listened as the hat did what it did with Hermione and I, then, with my ecitement, it yelled,
'GERYFFINDOR!'
I clapped loudly as she came and sat down, next to me! She was the last one, and we heard Dumbledore stand up.
'Children, Children, settle down.' the chatter died down and he cleared his throat.
'Welcome 1st years to Hogwarts, enjoy your stay! Now, remember first years the Forbidden Forest is... well, forbidden!' I heard a few snickers, then he countinued. 'Also, the second corridor on the third floor is forbidden, to who does not want to die a most painful death.' I gulped, then thought, 'death?'
'Well now, let the feast BEGIN!' Dubledore belowed. And with thoes words, the plates filled with food, and the goblets also had many jugs of water, milk, and a grape pop (like a kid wine) around them. I dug right in, amazed and happy. I looked over at the girl who I had my eye on, then whispered,
'Hi.'
'Hello.' she said back and smiled at me.
Wow, I thought excitedly, Two friends in one day!
*Readers*- I know it says, 'My First Day of Hogwarts', but some other people make a whole YEAR! So I decided to make the WHOLE year! Thanks for reading!
