Title: Under A Red Sky-Chapter 3-Part 1
Giles nodded as Buffy told what she and Angel knew so far.
“Well the vision I expect means Angel is right. The question is what could be so evil and what is it doing here.” He looked at the library doorway suddenly. Wilow, Oz and a very reluctant Xander loitered at the door. “Come in then. Shut the door too.”
“Hey.” Xander said sheepishly to Buffy who stared at him for a minuter.
“Hi.” Buffy replied slowly. “So are you here to apoligise if not-”
“I’m here to say sorry. Sorry Buffy.” Xander smiled looking worried and maybe even scared.
“Fine. I had a vision by the way.” Willow looked up. “You were all deadly still and lying on a floor. Angel was there, he was in pain, I could see it. Then something masked, it came up to me.” Buffy shivered at the memory. It had felt so real.
“Are you okay?” Oz asked. Buffy nodded just as the phone rang.
“Hello…yes…..well….fine. Buffy it is Angel for you.” Giles said swiftly. Xander rolled his eyes as Buffy picked up the reciever.
“Hello?”
“Have you had any dreams?”
“Yeah-I guess. I had a vision in class. Everyone was lying deadly still-you were there.” Buffy paused for a second. “You were in pain. Then something approached me.” There was a pause on Angel’s behalf.
“I have no idea what it could be. But it is probably a being-on account of a creature coming to you. I think we should interrogate Willi at the Alibi later.” The Alibi was a vampire bar, Willi the owner was a greedy human, who often would meet new demons, etc. He was regularly visited by Buffy for information which usually they would get.
“Okay. How about nine? If we only take an hour I’ll ask Xander or Willow to cover.”
“Fine bye, oh and Buffy-I know it’s hard for you, I don’t help things and I understand why some if not all of your friends stongly resent my presence. Just day the words Buffy and I will go.”
“No Angel!” Buffy practically shouted, Giles looked taken aback. “I love you.” She spoke softly and quietly.
“I love you too.” Was the eventual reply as they said goodbye.
Xander stared at her. Willow was the one who broke the silence.
