Title: Under A Red Sky-Chapter 3-Part 3
Thankfully Oz was passing and saw Buffy.
“What is it?” He asked softly. She pointed and he suddenly felt very ill. He decided to put a front on for Buffy’s sake. She never had looked so frightened.
‘Come on we’ll find Willow, eh?” He half dragged, half helped Buffy come to the library. Giles looked up at her as she came.
“I…I…it….I couldn’t.” Buffy stuttered as Oz explained what he had seen.
“There was a tape player, repeating this scream over and over again. Then there were pictures, really sick ones of Buffy-torturing those she loved, in graphic detail too. The message was Slayers don’t have friends or boyfriends for a reason.”
Buffy looked small and vulnerable. She was in deep shock and could barely hold the chipped china cup full of hot tea Giles had given her. Willow and Xander cam in and looked very confused. Oz explained silently hoping Buffy would get better.
“She’s in shock. She can barely hold a tea-cup. I’ll hate to see her in lessons.”
“She can’t go! Not like this.” Willow cried out. Giles nodded in agreement.
“Mum’s at work though-she’ll ask questions too. Plus I can’t pass for ill at the moment and the teachers are out to get me so-” Buffy said slowly. Giles interupted.
“I think you should be out of school too. If you like I can help you get out without getting in trouble. You are pale so with my help we should get you sent home byu the nurse.” Buffy nodded, what else could she do?
