Title: Under A Red Sky-Chapter 4-Part 1
Buffy walked down the street slowly. She knew it was too risky to go home, her Mum would ask questions, questions she didn’t want to answer. She decided to go to Angel’s , she was relying on him too much but she knew he could help her, or at leats say what she wanted to hear.
As she approached the grand mansion, Buffy wondered if she should knock but nudged the door gently to see if it was open. It was, silently she sat down in the living room and waited for Angel.
Angel appared after five minutes. He was wearing a deep purple velvet shirt with black jeans. Taking one look at him made Buffy cry.
“What’s wrong?” Angel asked, worried as he sat next to her. He gently put his arm around her as she wept gently. He just sat trying to comfort her.
“Shouldn’t you be at school?” Angel asked as she stopped crying and wiped her eyes with her hand muttering how she hadn’t cried for ages.
“Yeah but I was ‘ill’ Sorry you had to see me like that it’s just I feel so shocked and scared. Someone knows who I am, who my friends are, who and what you are. Above all I think someone very evil. You didn’t see it Angel, it was horrid, then there was this message sayig there’s a reaosn I’m not supposed to have friends.” Buffy paused as Angel pondered then simply said,
“It doesn’t sound like anything I know. Do you want a drink or some food? I think I have some.” Buffy nodded.
“Thanks.” She gently stood up. Her deep blue eyes took in the many blinds and curtains. Angel could die if he was exposed to natural daylight which sensibly he wanted to avoid. Buffy sat back down and waited patiently.
In the kitchen Angel waited for the kettle boil as he searched for something edible for Buffy. Finally he found some fresh doughnuts which he put on a plate as he poured hot water into a cup filled with coffee beans and his choice of drink in another. Gently he brought a tray in and smiled at Buffy.
“Thanks.” She smiled. Gently they sipped their drinks and Buffy proceeded to nibble a doughnut.
“Are you okay now?” Angel asked.
“Yes I think so, I think I’ll have nightmares tonight but I normally do. It’s just weird it came just an hour after my vision.”
“That’s what I thought too. It must be a link. I think you should go home though before we go to the Alibi.”
“Why?” Buffy looked offended. Angel sighed,
