Title: Under A Red Sky-Chapter 5-Part 1
It was cold, that was the first thing Buffy noticed as she strode down the grotty suburb in the cool evening.
“Buffy?” Someone asked from behind, Buffy spun around nervously and saw only Ray, a boy from her biology class, a boy she depised.
“Yes?” She snapped.
“Why are you here-it’s the bad side of town!” He laughed cruelly. Buffy walked away. “Why are you going so soon?” He was becoming incoherent, crazed and threatening. Bufy looked around quickly.
“I have to meet some one.” He smiled and pointed at himself.
“No way!” Buffy was angry, she so badly wanted. A figure was approaching them.
“Are you okay Buffy?” It was Angel. “You’re late.”
“I was held up. You ready?” Bufy walked ahead quietly and watched Ray shocked face. “Thanks.” She smiled.
“It’s all right. I wasn’t in the mood to see you try and get away peacefully. He won’t bother you any more I hope! We don’t need that on top of everything.” His expression was grave as they entered the Alibi together. Willi twitched as they entered
“H-h-e-l-lo, may I-I help?” He stuttered slowly. Buffy smiled grimly.
“Yes- the bar is pretty empty isn’t it?” Willi looked at the empty seats except for two vampires and nodded.
“Why?” Angel asked trying to sound calm but his voice shook with suppressed rage, he had his own reasons for hating Willi mainly because he nearly had had Angel killed nearly a year ago.
“They don’t want to come anymore- they are hiding.”
“From what?” Buffy asked slowly. He shrugged, Angel slammed his fist down on the bar. “Angel, babe-“ She began but he nodded.
“If you know anything at all and do not tell us by the time I cunt to ten and we find out-I’ll let you see Angel angry.” Buffy said coldly as she began to count. He cracked on six.
”It’s a new evil-stronger then all you have slayed combined. It will win you will die Slayer. It is the new spirit.”
“She won’t die!” Angel yelled furiously.
“Let’s go Angel you’re stressed. Xander won’t cover for me much longer.” They walked outside and Angel announced he would come with her.
“I need to talk to you.” He smiled.
“Is this a ‘bad’ talk?”
