Title: 1st year in Reffeny School
Chapter 4
"Oh don't worry it's quite easy." Said Shaun.
He started explaining it to me, and for once I think I understood what math's was about.
When marking the papers I got 14/20, which was pretty good. Shaun got 19/20, which was brill! Daphne and Jamie both got 8/20, because they copied each other. Shelley got 15/20 and Thomas (yuck) got 12/20 because he tried to copy Jamie's.
At that moment the bell rang.
"Class dismissed, you may go to break!"
I walked out with Shaun and Alex, "Alex this is Shaun, he really helped me with my math's today."
"Wow you got a cute one!" she said ruffling Shaun's hair (who was now a beetroot)! "Look who I got!" she said pointing to a bunch of giggling geeks with glasses who were snorting away.
"So can Shaun hang around with us, he hasn't made a friend yet?"
"Yeah cool ok!"
So Alex Shaun and me were basically inseparable by lunchtime. He was pretty cool; he showed Alex his snapshots and signed photos of her favourite band "Fried Egg"! She soon learned to like him.
At lunch we found a three-seater table, unfortunately it was right next to Daphne and Deon's table who were reaching over flirting with Jamie's table.
"Hahaha, look who Jesse and Alex are sitting with, their new BOYFRIEND!"
Jamie started sniggering so violently that he knocked over his milk glass.
At the same time me and Daphne both bent to pick it up.
"OUCH!" we both squealed.
We had bashed heads and now my head was throbbing!
"Poof! Jesse you big klutz. Are you ok Daphne?"
"I'm fine but my head hurts because of that clown!"
"Let's move!" said Thomas "and leave Jesse with her boyfriend!!"
"Fine leave! Good riddance!!!"
"Are you ok?" asked Alex.
"Yeah but my head hurts a bit!"
"Come on" said Shaun "Let's get to afternoon English."
"Do you know what group's we're in?"
"We're all in A.," said Shaun, "It's me, Jesse, Alex and Max."
"Cool, lets go then!"
Alex, Shaun and me walked though the big wooden door. There was 2 spaces left on our table. I noticed that Daphne and Jamie were both in Group C along with Alanis and Deon.
"Class, I'd like to introduce a new girl here who has arrived a few days late, her name is Lou."
" Ello class, Moi very policed to meet you."
"Lou is from France, and although her English isn't terribly good she is in Group A."
I looked at Lou; she had a nice light tan and her hair back in a pretty plait.
I think I would like her.
"Gillian please hand out the new blue English books to everyone here."
Gillian handed us all one.
"Class, write your name at the top of the book and write "English Book" below it."
"That is just sooo hard" muttered Jesse.
We wrote our names and "English Book" on the blue book.
"OK class I will be calling out some words and you will write them in the back of you're book."
"1st word, colour.
People,
Science,
Diamond,
Curtain,
Computer,
Mouse,
Flour (remember the stuff that you bake with.)
OK now I will give you the list of spellings to check, and also give you 8 new words to learn for next week."
"Those were really easy!" said Jesse.
"I know!" said Alex.
"They were pips!" said Shaun.
"Well I thought they were quite hard." Said Max
"I tought day were pitty easy!" said Lou.
Everyone burst out laughing.
"Excuse table A, do you want to teach the class today?"
"Oh Moi would vewy mush like too!" said Lou, not knowing what they were talking about.
"Well come and stand up here Lou, then!"
"Okie doke!"
She walked up to Mrs. Burchill and snatched the pen from her hand. She began writing on the board.
"OK class!" Lou began "We are now having a French lesson!" To her utter surprise, the whole class began laughing uncontrollably.
"Lou, sit down now!!!" shouted Mrs Burchill.
"Bud you zed, oh never mind, poof deese English people OY!" said Lou getting annoyed.
"Hahaha!" said Jesse. "Nice one Lou!"
"Nize what?"
"Never mind!"
"OY!"
