Title: The Cave
As I walked into the cave a heard a growling noise. I took out my flashlight and shined it everywhere and saw a little dog that was trying to get my attention by growling. The dog bounced into the darkness and I followed him, flashing my flashlight around to keep the dog in view. After a long walk I heard a cackling laugh. An old woman was staring at me. 'Finally,' said said, very excitedly. 'Finally someone I can practice my magic on. I stood frozen. The woman blocked off all exits. Then she started to chant words. 'Noooooo!' I screamed. I forgot about the little dog who was sitting quietly until now. He barked at this old woman and sprang towards her. 'Rufus don't!' the lady exclaimed. But it was too late. Rufus bit her leg. The woman started howling in pain. Then she just disappeared, and all was silent. But there was written words on the cave. MAYBE I AM GONE FOR NOW BUT I WILL RETURN SO BEWARE. I WILL RETURN AND PRACTICE MY MAGIC AND FINALLY RULE THE WORLD. Rufus and I quickly walked further into the cave. My flashlight grew dimmer and dimmer. Finally when we reached the end it went out. But for some rason Rufus and I didn't need light anymore. The walls gleamed and sparkled. 'Gold!' I cried. 'Heaps and heaps! Tons and tons! Rufus we're rich!' And Rufus and I were rich, lived happily ever after, and never heard from the old lady again.
