Title: 1st year in Reffeny School
Chapter 9
"Jenny, w-w-what are we looking for, I'm really scared, Amy and Jesse could be dead!"
"That's the point, DON’T YOU GET IT!" Jenny's dark chestnut eyes filled Jackie with fear.
She had hated Jenny pulling the trigger especially as Amy was her best friend.
"W-what if I get sent to prison?"
"Don't worry, relax Jackie!"
"W-what are we looking for?"
"The farmer, I want to destroy him!"
"NO!, HE'S MY FRIEND, WE CANT!" screamed Jackie she tugged at Jenny's sleeve!
"Get off me!"
"NO!!!!!!"
"What the hell is going on here?!" Farmer John asked coming out of the kitchen because he heard commotion.
Jenny pulled the trigger.
"CRACK!"
Farmer John collapsed to the floor pouring with blood.
"JENNY WHAT DID YOU DO!, I'M CALLING THE POLICE!"
Jackie ran out of the room, so quick that Jenny couldn't grab her.
Jackie ran and ran, she found a telephone box, but they were both in use.
She rushed into one that had a bony man in.
"Sorry sir, I have to use the phone desperately" she rasped shooing him out.

"Hmmm…….. " thought Jenny to herself, "where should I put the body of this old man?"
Jenny was a tall, cruel girl, she had the coldest heart of them all.
"I know, I'll hide it under the hay!" She dragged the cold hands along the rough gravel floor and shoved under a bale of hay.
"That ought to keep him."
She rushed off to try and find Jackie, "I knew that squirt wasn't tough!"
As Jenny rushed off, a big golden retriever came up to the hay. This was Farmer John's blind retriever called Tracker.
Tracker sniffed the hay. He pushed his paw, the hay fell off, and he knelt down beside his master. He knew he was dead, he was a loyal dog. He howled and howled. Never once did he leave his master's side. The dog was very old.
He howled one final howl and collapsed next to the deceased farmer.
Alex ran and ran.
"MRS BURCHILL!" she screamed, "OH HURRY, ITS JESSE AND AMY, THEY'VE BEEN SHOT!!"
"What! Get in my car now!"
They drove along the road in a furious panic!
"THERE, OVER THERE!"
The car came to a screech…..
They jumped out and ran to Jesse and Amy. Shaun was kneeling by her and Amy.
"They don't look good Alex!"
"OH MY LORD! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!!!!!" Mrs Burchill shouted.
At that moment Mrs Burchill spied Jenny.
"OY! YOU GET OVER HERE NOW!"
"Oh yes Mrs Burchill ho- OH MY! How did this happen!"
Jesse stared at her, she felt herself slip away, "NO THAT'S- HE- HER!"
"You shot her didn't you!" said Alex with an evil stare.
"I don't know what you're talking about, it was all Jackie!"
"You know Jackie do you?"
"Yea-yeah why!" said Jenny nervously.
"Because…… Jesse said she saw Jackie with you!"
Mrs Burchill was terribly shocked, "You've called an ambulance, haven't you Shaun?!"
"Yes!"
"Jenny, I would like to see you in my office, in about 3 hours, the police will be with me."
"Yea-yes!" she said scampering off.
"Who's that?!" said Shaun.
There was someone over the field running up to them.
"It's Jackie!!!!!!!" shouted Alex.
"N-noo, nnoooooo!" screamed Jesse.
"Don't worry honey, she can't hurt you." Said Mrs Burchill, reassuringly
I blacked out.
It was a long time before I came too, again. But I didn't know where I was.
I was in a big white room, I was in a white bed. I felt very sore.
I looked up, it was mum and dad! Sylvia, Alex, Shaun, Mrs Burchill and a tall bony doctor where there too.
"Wh-what happened?!" I couldn't remember anything.
"A LOT!" said Alex.
"Honey, you poor thing, aww!" said Mum smothering me with kisses.
"Oh my poor little ANGEL!" Said Dad, also smothering me with kisses.
I looked at the bed next to me.
It was Amy, she was on a drip thingy!
"A-Amy IS SHE OK!?"
"Jesse, the doctor's say she may not make it." Said Shaun glumly.
"What, no, she saved me!"
"Jesse," It was Sylvia "Here's Chester, he wants to see you."
I took Chester and stroked him. My tears ran down my cheeks and dropped on the bed cover.
"What about Jenny and Jackie!!?"
"Jenny's been arrested, she killed Farmer John. Jackie's been put in a home."
"But what did she want when she ran up the fields?"
It was Mrs Burchill's turn to talk:
"She wanted to help Farmer John ,Jesse, he was her mother's best friend, he loved Jackie and she loved him."
At that moment the nurse seeing to Amy yelled:
"Quick help, I can't feel a pulse!"
3 doctors came by and rushed her on to a trolley:
"We're taking her to operating theatre, she needs an operation!"
They rushed off with the terribly pale Amy.
"NO!, They can't take her! I want to see her!" she tried to struggle away but the doctor pinned her down.
"You need rest Jesse, she'll be alright, we'll do our best. Meanwhile is it "Alex Meller" I think you can take the bed, you need rest."
Alex climbed in.
"Jesse, do you know Alex stayed out in the rain for you all night?" asked Jesse's mum, "and Shaun too!"
"I know. I have the best friends in the world!"
