Title: Under A Red Sky-Chapter 6-Part 1
“Miss Summers?” Buffy nodded at the doctor slowly.
“Your mother will be okay, she is asleep now . We are keeping her in overnight for observation as a precaution however, she has had a few stitches on her head where she cut it on impact with glass. It shouldn’t scar. Her wrist however is sprained. Do you have somewhere to stay tonight?”
“Okay. Yes I should have. Willlow?”
“Sure you can stay over tonight.” Willow smiled gently hugging her friend.
They left the hospital and said goodbye to Xander, Oz and Angel. Buffy gently kissed him and hugging him said.
“Thanks. I’ll try and drop by tomorrow.”
“School?” Angel questioned.
“It’ll be a Saturday.” Buffy laughed. She waved at Xander and Oz shyly and walked away with Willow.
That night Willow pretended she was asleep in her spaious four poster bed but on a pull out camping bed on the floor she could hear Buffy sobbing in a pillow. Buffy suffered so badly, Willow wished she could ease the pain for her friend.
“Are you okay?” Willow finally asked as she combed back her hair with her fingers.
“I am, it’s Mum. I guess I feel guilty. It’s teasing me and I’m accustomed to a sign such as a murder not these things. It’s, it’s just sick.” Buffy punched her pillow until her golden hair was a mess and she was panting. This due to her being the Chosen One was a great deal of time later, then she saw it in her mind.
The hooded creature praying on a person in a dark alley. It smiled at her.
“Willow, check and see if anyone had been found dead, now!” Buffy said emotionlessly.
