Courtney Stevens was a new student at Tallagh Highschool.She met all the other girls attending the school.They were all good at sports.Courtney knew that she could not play sports as well as all the other girls.The girls laughed at her when she missed an easy goal in soccer or when she couldn't bat the ball in rounders.She was always picked last on teams.This made her very upset indeed.When she went into school one day,she found that another new student named Phoebe had joined the school.Over the next few days,Courtney saw that Phoebe was no good at sports either.Courtney decided to have a chat with her and maybe they could be friends.Then she realised that Phoebe,just like herself,didn't like sports and wasn't any good either.So the two of them ended up being best friends.Courtney's mum even set up acting and singing classes for them.They always had fun when they were together.And Courtney's motto was 'one best friend is way better than a gang of friends'.
