Steffi stared at the present. Her eyes gave a mere twitch. "Dad," she whispered. "Why does this look like a boy? I thought girls had that feather?" "Well," "Are you trying to tell me I GOT A BOY!!! It's a disgrace. I skipped hockey for this. Dumb, old Aunt Jen. She can't get anything..." "I won't have any of that talking in this household, young lady. Go to your room." "N-O!" Steffi hollered. She screamed so much when her Dad carried her to her bedroom, that the neighbor came to see if everything was alright. Her mom gave her grounded for a week, no allowance for two weeks, and three hours in her bedroom.

Steffi creeped down the stairs. It was midnight, but she heard talking. "John," her mother said. "Do you think I punished her too much?" "Not at all Danielle," said her dad. "She's going to be a teen soon, and she has to learn how to behave." Just then Steffi's slipper crashed down the stairs. "Who's there?" "It's just me, Mom." "Oh, Steffi. You scared me." "I can tell." "Steffi," said her dad. "Your mother told me that you can name the cheetah." "Yes, I will tell you tomorrow." "Alright. Have you learned to like him?" "Yes." "Great. He starts school with you tomorrow." "What?"
