Title: tug-of-war
it was an ordinary evening. the night of the big band dance, and i had my eyes set on one boy...his name was...yianni.so when mrs.blair called ladies choice, my heart pounded as hard as the bass druum, and faster than the snare. i asked him to dance, and he said sure. then i ran into ryan.i sorta hugged him, and he was all over me... this all happened after yianni and i danced for the second time. it felt weird. one part of me wanted to dance with yianni, and another part just wanted to stay in ryan's arms.i felt confused, because untill then, ryan and i didn't really talk much.well, i went home that night feeling like i had to choose. but the thought of me dancing with yianni occupied my thoughts for the past few months. then yesterday... the last day of school, i finally found the guts to ask yianni for a hug. that was probably the best 5 seconds of my life! then as i walked out of the band room, who should i run into but ryan.he hugged me,and we held hands as we walked out of the band room.then he whispered into my ear,'will you go out with me?'....without even thinking, i said sure. then we sorta kissed, but all i was thinking about was yianni. i would love to be with ryan....but i have such strong feelings for yianni. it's like an emotional tug-of-war.
