Albus Newton The Ultimate Quest

Chapter-3 "Razor"

They didn't have me long when I got a surprise. He carried me about five feet and I saw a sword go through the guy in front of me. The sword went back out and the guy fell to the ground. Standing behind him was someone who looked like he was about a year older than me. He had a black and red cape, with black hair sticking up in all directions, and black and white sunglasses. He had a sword in his hands and was staring at the guy holding me. The evil man holding me looked a little frightened at the site, and he just let me go. The kid in the cape shot something bright green out of his hands and the the man desintegrated into the air.
"Hey thanks man, you saved my life, who are you anyway?"
"You can just call me Razor."
"Where are you from, Razor?"
"I am from the village Vanburen."
"Wait a second, I thought that Vanburen was under the rule of Sephiroth." I pointed out.
"It is, I escaped last year. I lived there for three years. I have been secretely training about two miles south of Dragon Nest. Everyone around here thinks I am dead. That is why I didn't come back, I didn't want to get captured and taken back to Vanburen again. Vanburen is the evilest village in the world. It is where Sephiroth and most of his servants live. There are also servants keeping watch in the other villages under Sephiroth's rule, but Vanburen is the worst. I almost turned evil staying there so long, but I escaped right on time."
"How did you escaped with so many people around?"
"I guess I got lucky, I ran in the night and blasted anyone who got in my way. I didn't really have much control over myself. I got out of the village and flew over here. I knew I would be safe if I hid. The reason I came into the village today was to speak to Seppledore."
"Wait a minute. How in the world do you know Seppledore?......Oh! You are the kid that Seppledore was training and was kidnapped! It all makes sense now! That is how you can fly, and Seppledore said you were about my age. Seppledore is training me now, we have been for about two weeks. So, you, me, and Seppledore are the only three Kentaykana's left. Seppledore thought you died when Sephiroth took you."
"I know, everyone thought I did, but we can't talk much right now, we need to go fast, Seppledore is in trouble. I heard those guys talking when they were flying over here. They said that after they get finished with you they are going to get Seppledore. We must go fast!"
We flew at full speed toward Seppledore's house, but when we got there Seppledore was gone. All the windows were broken, doors were ripped off their hinges, all the furniture was broken, and there was a little blood on a spot in the middle of the living room.
"Well Razor, what now? It looks like they beat us here."
"Yeah I guess so. It looks like we have a bit of a problem."
We sat there staring at the ceiling and the floor thinking about what we supposed to do next.
After about twenty minutes of doing absolutely nothing, Razor came up with an idea.
"Well Albus, you didn't complete your magic training with Seppledore did you?"
"Nope, but what does that have to do with anything?"
"I never completed my magic training under Seppledore either, but whenever i was help captive in Vanburen I had a little help. There was a man in the cell across from me by the name of Ness Tador."
"Hold up, isn't that the name of the capitol city?" I interrupted.
"Yes, you are much smarter than I thought you would be, he is the founder of Nesstador, he is approximately 543 years old, but nobody knows for sure. When the guards weren't around he would teach my new techniques in hope that I escape sometime. He taught me the art of PSI."
At this point I was totally confused. "What is PSI?"
"PSI is the most ancient magic abbility in the wizard history. It is what the founders of our great civilization used. Not even Septhiroth, or Seppledore for that matter know what it is. Only Nesstador, me, you, and a few others who have long forgotten, or even believe it still exists now about it.
It is also the hardest abbility to learn. Right now you might be able to use PSI Flame, it is the easiest of them all. The only drawback to these awesome powers is that you can only learn a new move at a certain power level. "
"So what are you saying? That different people have different power levels? How can I use PSI Flame? Now you really lost me."
"Power levels depend on a number of different things, like for instince how many battles you've won, or how good of a fighter you are. You're power level is probably 16, the best you can be is 1. If you are that strong you can pretty much do anything you want to. As for you're other question, once I tell you everything I I know about PSI, and you do a little mind training you will automatically learn any PSI power that you're body can handle."
"So what is you're power level?" I asked.
"Mine is probably 11, but Sephiroth's is around 3 or 4. I imagine Seppledore is only about 6. So unless we can get to him he doesn't have much of a chance. Before we do anything though I have to teach you the art of PSI, once you know that we might have a little bit of a chance against Sephiroth's goons."
That night I was up until about three o'clock trying to learn as much as possible about PSI.
We woke up in the morning around eight, and began talking about our plans again.
"Hey, Razor, what about Bin-konna? Most of my training was on that. I don't just want to totally start over in training."
"Oh don't worry about that Albus, PSI is only magic, it has nothing to do with physical battle. My battle style is a cross between Bin-konna and PSI too. I was like you in a way, I never got to finish my training with magic with Seppledore because I got kidnapped when I was finished learning Bin-konna. Well, I have had enough talking we need to start making the first move."
