Title: Nothing Left but a Single Tear (Part 3)
Wormtail walked nervously along the pavement to the grave yard outside Riddle House. He knew that he could give them James and Lily and their brat but he was still nervous. He didn’t like his master, he had a weak mind, but an evil heart and it was his heart that had joined him to Voldemort.
His so called friends made fun of him, told him he was clumsy and stupid and then when he had been forced by Snape to enchant Sirius nearly killing him and Lily, they hadn't trusted him properly again.
Lily, she had been the cause of it all. She had snared James and the others and they fawned over her. Forgot about pranks and making fun of other people. Instead they made fun of him. A bitterness swept through him and he felt more sure.
Then they had to go into hiding. They made him their secret keeper but it was only because they thought that Voldemort would over look Peter. Shy, quiet, good for nothing Peter. No talent, not really counted as a friend more of a tag a long some one to feel sorry for. It wasn't because they thought of him as a trusted friend.
Again he felt more confidence. Well he thought, I'm going to have the last laugh.
He entered the grave yard all of his apprehension had disappeared. This is for you James Potter, for treating me like a pathetic piece of nothing. Well now your life is in my hands.
His inner gloating was interupted by a cold high cruel voice, that penetrated his body and made him shiver.
'This had better be good, wormtail you have interrupted Nagini's feeding.'
'Well wormtail, I am waiting.'
He turned with some of his apprehension returning to face his master. He dropped hastily to his knees and bowed his head.
'Master, I can tell you where the Potters are living. I can hand you James, Lily and Harry in one easy packet.'
'I am impressed Wormtail, but how do I know it is the truth not a trap.'
'Because I am their secret keeper master. They are living in Number 6 at Godric's Hollow'
'I am impressed Wormtail you have made yourself worthy before me and you will not be fed to Nagini this time.'
His master rose and Wormtail dropped even lower pressing his face into the ground.
'Get up Wormtail you must stay here and inform anyone who comes where I have gone. “
And with a swish of the black cloak he was gone.
