Title: Betrayal by the boys (title under construction)
James Potter stepped out of the front door and on to the garden lawn with his back to his house. It was late October and the sun was setting early casting long shadows on the stone walls and ground. James took f his round glasses and started to clean them on the hem of his day robes. When he performed this action it usually meant he was in deep thought about something important. And indeed he was. James looked up at the upstairs window as a light turned on. He watched the silhouette of hi wife Lilly put his one-year-old son Harry in his cot. He put his glasses back on and brushed his tousled black hair out of his eyes. He loved them both vary much and now the family where in danger, it was up to him, the man of the house to protect them. Lilly extinguished the light in Harry’s room and shut the door soundly in order not to wake her baby. James glumly smiled. ‘It isn’t meant to be like this.’ He thought the wind took a change in temperature jogging him back to his senses and sending a shiver down his spine. He had a distinct vision that someone, or something was watching him. The ally that ran don the side of the house had an unwelcome presence lingering about it and James being brave as he was stepped over to it and drew out his wand. The dustbins clanged as a familiar shape bound out of between them. The huge bear like dog transformed before James’s eyes in to he’s well-known beast friend.
“What’s troubling you Jimmy?” he said cheerily. This brought a scowl on James’s face. He hated being called Jimmy it was the nickname for him in muggle primary school called by his enemies, but James new Sirius was just joking around.
“I’ll give you three guesses, Sirry Willy and its not money or DIY.” It was Sirius that was scowling now. Sirius William black. James had to get him back some time.
