I stroked Osric slowly as I looked out of the window out in2 the setting sun. Thoughts kept running throug my head. 'Did I really belong here? I week ago I was sitting in my back yard with my friend Warner. Now I was on a train to a school called, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. How di his happen?'
The suddenly there was a knock on the compartment door. I didn't want toanswer it. I probably kw just as much about the school as anyother kid now that I had read all thos books. I had even tried out a few simple spells, they worked too! But was I still behind?...
'Come in,' I said with a small voice. The door slid open and three kids stood there. There was a girl with bushy brown hair, a boy wth red hir, frecles, and very tall, the last person was a boy. He had jet-black hair, brilliantly brigh green eyes, and i noticed a scar on his head too. I didn't stare though.
I tucked my blonde, now slightly curled hair (a present from mygrandmum was a perm) and smiled at them. The 2 boys smiled back, but the girl just barrely smiled.

'Kendra! Hurry! you'll be late for your first class!' Harry yelled at me from the top of the stairs. My first dy at hogwarts... and I have friend who cares...
I sighed and ran aftr him.
