Title: Chapter 3: The help of the deceived
just a note:The other chapters I wrote awhile ago so you may have to search for them to know why she was running. I've been busy with other books I've been writing.
back to the chapter:
Miyako ran and ran her feet lightly touching the ground and then racing through the air. Tears cascaded down her cheeks leaving streaks of water down her muddy face. The vulpix sat quietly on her shoulder letting its tails drop carelessly over her shoulder.
She felt as if the grand demon himself were chasing her. She continued running along the dirt covered path trying to find some way to get away from the thing that felt like it was chasing her.
The wind whipped around her thrashing and binding itself around her. The vulpix growled and the torrent of air slowed but kept nagging around the edges of her thoughts.
Suddenly something huge loomed up before her its sheer bulk covering her way of escape. She slid to a halt and collapsed on the ground panting. The creature bent over and sniffed dragging her a little closer to it. Miyako gasped and pulled the vulpix closer to her cradling it in her arms.
The vulpix leapt down and trotted up to the massive creature. In one swipe the thing scooped her precious vulpix up and looked at it. Miyako screamed,'no she's all I have left dont take her!'
After saying that darkness enveloped her cradling her in its escape from what was going on around her. Just as she slipped into unconciousness she heard a voice call after her ,'I will not harm her I too am like you. But all I can offer to you is the help of the decieved....'
She drifted off from reality her thoughts dissapearing in the black shadow enveloping her mind.....
