Title: Episode 74: A Challenge at the Wrong Time

The tornado, because of the deep pit, disappeared into thin air at the end. We scrambled out in like 25000 minutes and now the problem was to find the way back to the pokémon league. We’ve been teleported a long way to set down at this area, and now the good fortune backfired and we were lost in the middle of nowhere. “Go Articuno!” Kristin yelled, stopping the thinking. I saw what her plan must’ve been. I decided to choose mine out too. After the rain, the icicles that fell from the chilled wings reflected rainbows that spread out quite far. Now we had pokémon to fly on, but what about Aloha and Meula? “Mew, use fly and follow Articuno.” That was obviously Meula, and Aloha let out her Skarmory and we were all set, ready to make the journey back to our home.
The journey took about two hours, according to my watch. We crashed on the pokémon league stadium, but the walls weren’t caved in a slight bit. Our pokémon, and us however, slammed into the wall and fell down the tall wall. We struggled to get up, and the stadium wasn’t open yet. It wasn’t all that much of a storm anymore; the skies cleared quicker than ay of us thought it would. The rain diminished steadily and we saw people walking outside again. The grass was flooded with water, so much that once you just step in, you’ll drown, unless you’re tall, of course. We sat down with nothing to do. “What 25 times 45?” Kristin mumbled, as we were doing nothing. She had a piece of paper in her hands and was also holding a pencil. None of us responded for a while. Suddenly, there was a ton of people rushing into the second round match-up room. We decided to also enter the building, to see what opponent Kristin and I got for the next round. We were in there, and there were only 32 trainers left to battle in this second round. It took a while to find mine, but Kristin’s opponent was the first one she looked at. It happened to be someone we don’t know. I finally found mine. It was… Ash Ketchum? I’ve beaten him before, so I’m a bit more confident now, but they say that he’s on a 99 battle-winning streak, so I had to calm down for the next day.
That evening, the clouds cleared totally. Occasionally, there would be a small, white cloud floating in the sky, but no one paid any attention to it. Even though the storm cleared, which was a relief, I keep thinking about tomorrow’s battle. It was a bad time to encounter with Ash at this moment. If he were really dead set on getting 100 victories in a row, then…
