Title: arathorn,father of aragorn
It was a pretty typical day. The sun was shining the birds were chirping, everything seemes normal. Arathorn was on a scouting mission with the dwarfs of the lonely mountains for ocs were multiplying by their lands. One of the dwarfs was thorin oakshield himself. By the end of the day lay 74 dead orcs and 17 dwarfs. It was labeled a victory. The dwarfs asked him to feast but he replied, ' i've got afamily now to attend to.' He rode down to the gap of rohan where his wife(rea) and his son(aragorn, 8 years old) dwelled. But first he stopped by rivendell to reclaim the sword that isidur himself cut off the ring with(the elves restored the broken sword) Arathorns main job was to aid eves, men;and dwarfs from orc strikes though there was no real threat. Arathorn suspected that soon mordor would strike all middle earth but not when. He was already showing aragorn the world and teaching him the arts of the sword. But one fatefull day when they returned, ther house was burnt and rea hanged. Arathorn was outraged and at the same time mourning. He told aragorn to stay there. Arathorn followed their trail south near gondor, and the orcs spotted him(about 50). It appeared that aragorn followed(1 mile behind)but when he got there arathorn told him to take isildurs sword and run back to the gap for elves were waiting. So he ran. And when he looked from a hill, he saw 39 carcasses, and 1 was his fathers being dragged away with blood on him. Aragorn ran and cried at the same time until he was picked up by elrond and his sons. The storie of arathorn is passed, while the story of aragorn is now begining. THE END
