Title: No Title

My story is going to be about my
best friend-Amanda Jaap. I have known her since second grade-from when I moved to North Carolina, all
the way from Texas. My name is RaStar Lang. Anyway, when I first met Amanda,
I thought that she was a prep! She didn't like a lot of people that I
thought might be really nice. One of my other friends, Rebecca Eller,
Amanda didn't like. So, what I had to do was play with Rebecca one day,
and Amanda the next. Sometimes I played with Amanda two or three
days in a row. I always felt bad leaving Rebecca.
Anyway, Amanda and I were in daycare(after-school) together. We
always played together - until her dad took her out of daycare, because they
moved. Amanda still went to my school, but it wasn't the same.
We would go over to each others house on the weekend. We were
never apart. Then one day, Amanda lied to me. You see, she had joined
a club that was considered "cool!" I didn't think that the club was so hot.
I wasn't too happy with her, so I ignored her. She finally dropped out
of the club to be my friend. I knew then, that she was a real pal.
Then one day we got mad at each other, so I held her with one arm, and
slapped her as hard as I could on the back. She screamed like she was
being murdered! Needless to say, we got in all kinds of trouble. To this
day, we still look back at that day, and wonder why we are still friends. We
just laugh at the situation.
Amanda always trusted me to keep her secrets. I have never told a secret.
I think that if someone tells you a secret, then you shouldn't tell anyone.
Amanda still comes to me with all of her most personal secrets! -Some
are really cool too ! Also, when we were still in elementary
school, Amanda wanted to run away from home, because she thought that
her parents were being mean. She wanted to teach them a lesson. So,
we were at daycare, and we got our stuff. We went and snuck outside
when no one was looking. But then, I thought that it would be a bad idea,
and that we might get into trouble. I was always the one to guide people
in the right direction. We were almost off school property, when I told her that
I was going back, and that I didn't care if she went. But I was not going to get
into trouble for running away. I started back, and Amanda followed. We
came back to daycare, without anyone noticing. We were so glad that we
didn't get caught. The next day, Amanda gave me a hug, and thanked
me for turning her around in the right direction, and not letting her go.
She told me that I was a true pal. We have been best friends ever
since.
