Title: arival at numenor( sea at dusk 4)
Frodo asked legolas what he saw. He replied,' fire from the face of numenor. ' Just then frodo yelled, 'Watch out legolas.' Legolas turned and saw an arrow coming straight toward him. He held out his daggers and the arrow was chopped in half. 'Wait said elrond. That is a bow used by men, but not for 2000 years. I guess they left them behind, but who fired it?' ' We are but half a mile away from the shores.' Said the captain elf. Suddenly gimi screamed' get down' for a wave of bows came firing. One hit the conductor and he fell over board. The elves firred back into the distance. ( Not knowing who firred) Than the enemy stopped firing. So elrond ordered to dock with caution. When they arived they set a camp and began repairing the boat. But they heard laughing and screams. They hid and looked through the bushes and they saw 14 orcs torturing a man( stabbing burning, etc) The elves rapidly killed the orcs and freed the man.' My name' He panted' is dendris. ' i am heir of isildur. ' All the elves were shocked and said ' but aragorn' ' Aragorn', said dendris interupting, ' is my cousin who went to gondor as a boy and I stayed here' They began questioning him and went to the camp. Meanwhile, Men began shooting bows and charging at aragorns command. But the orcs broke on deck. Aragorn got an idea. He ordered' Throw the grain off the boat th the orks and dip youre bows with fire.' So the men obeyed. Aragorn ordered them to shoot the grain with fire bows and they did. This caused a fire and many orcs died, but one was carying tnt, which blew up almost all the orcs, but severely damaged the boat and killes 14 men.. The men fled to the canoes on the boat and abandoned the ship( after killing the remaining orcs, of course.) About an hour later they heard screams. 'What is that father?' Said feremir. ' I don't know son. Men paddle your boats faster.' When just then a wave of arrows came flooding the canoes. ' Get down men' Said aragorn. Meanwhile, gandalf and aragorn questioned dendris. He said that he was the last numenorian.' What's that noise asked frodo.' for he heard drums. Just then 50 orcs surrounded them and were about to kill them, when the leaders head came falling to the ground and the rest of the orcs were pumeled by arrows. And aragorn said, ' Looks like you could use some help.' ( to be continued)
