Title: Spying On Miss Muller
Sometimes you are suspicious of someone, and then you find out your suspicions are wrong. In Spying on Ms. Muller that’s exactly what happened, but even worse. By the time it was found out that the suspicions about this person were wrong it was too late. A person had already been hurt badly.
Ada, Maureen, Jessie, and Lizzie Mag are all friends that attend the boarding school Alveara. During the time these friends are in Alveara the war with the Nazis is going on, and many bad things are happening. All these 4 girls are terribly mad at Germans for all the bad things they are doing to their country and so many people’s homes.
When they find out that their favorite teacher, Ms. Muller, is a German, Ada, Maureen, and Lizzie Mag absolutely hate her. These three girls even believe she’s a Nazi spy. Yet Jessie isn’t to sure that Ms. Muller is a Nazi spy and still likes her. But then Alveara School has their 1st Air Raid (when German’s drop bad gasses in the air and start bombing) the exact same night Jessie had seen Ms. Muller creeping on to the roof top with a flashlight. Now she starts believing that Ms. Muller is a spy for the Nazis and that she had been giving signs to them on the roof top with her flashlight.
Jessie and her friends have more and more suspicions that Ms. Muller is a Nazi Spy. For example, the picture of her father who was a Nazi Spy that she kept hidden in her room. Jessie in her gang also told a girl name Greta Ludowski about their suspicions of Ms. Muller. But Greta tookgreater steps than Jessie and her friends wanted to. Greta was even talking about hurting Ms. Muller.
In the end, Jessie, Ada, Maureen, Lizzie Mag, and Greta learned that Ms. Muller wasn’t a spy. But she was in love with Mr. Bolten and he loved her. Jessie and her friends knew that if any of the teachers found out Mr. Bolton and Ms. Muller were in love, they’d be fired. So Jessie and her friends promised not to tell. Yet, Greta told and as a result, Ms. Muller was fired while Mr. Bolton retired.
Soon Summer Vacation was coming, and Jessie invited Lizzie Mag over to her house for the summer. Jessie ended up saying she was upset of her father (he was ill) but she still loved him, just like Ms. Muller had said. And Jessie never forgot Ms. Muller and that special night.
