Title: Through the Eyes of Harry (part One)
'Harry, Sit Down. I finally think it is time.' Dumbledore gave a great sigh, and examined Harry through his half-moon spectacles.
'Look over at my side table, Harry. Do you see what is there?'
Harry gave a small nod...he was still confused.
'That there is a time traveling device....created by the Ministry of Magic for unknown reasons. The loaned it to me so I could finally show you.'
'A time traveling device....but what do yo....' Harry stopped in the middle of his sentence. The look in Dumbledores eyes....the sad look....it scared him.
'I have permission Harry. Permission from the Ministy of Magic to show you that fateful night when your parents died. Now let me explain something to you. While you are in the past, no one can see you, see you, or feel you. You are like an invisible ghost. I have set the time traveler so you arrive at godrics hollow 10 minutes before Voldemort enterd your home. You will arrive back here the very intant the curse that was intended to kill you fails. Do you understand?'
'Yes.' Harry's voice was weak.
Dumbledore walked over to the side table, picked up the time machine and said 'october 31, 1981. Number 7 Godrics Hollow, 9:23 P.M.' He walked back over to Harry and said ' when you are redy, push this button.' He indicated a red button the the top of the machine.
Harry pressed it.
Dumbledore's office vanished in a swirl of color.
